Invitation to all Redgage fellows and friends

Redgage is one of the most fun things that happened to me lately. The whole idea to share good, funny or important things with one another is so smart. I have been thinking about how to show my appreciation. And finally now I know how to:

I hearby invite all of you fellow RedGage companions. This is an international party. Some dishes are typical Swedish and others are international. I hope you will accept my invitation to you!

Since it is geographically impossible for you all to attend, I have here posted the recipes, the suggestions how to cook and more links to make your party nice while you think about me and Redgage. Go ahead. And if you have any questions - just ask me. You know where to find me: At redgage.com/irenemaria

Pasta
Pasta is a really loved dish, all ages and
kinds of persons, love pasta. If there are
children among the guests, their day is saved.

Pasta can be used as entrance dish and this is
what you will get at my place, so dont eat to much as I did in Rome once.

Dandelion wine
If you are lucky to have Dandelions in your back garden,
Take time to make Dandelion wine. I have posted many recipes here.

Raw spiced salmon with dill

Many will say yak to eat "raw" fish.
But this is not raw - it is spiced in a special
way, kept in the fridge to mature and it is
absolutely delicious. Just try a bit and you
will be hooked.

Swedish Meatballs with gravy

Meatballs are popular all over the globe. They only have different names sometimes. The Swedish meatballs are very popular. Look at the IKEA restaurants how full they are of guests chewing on the Swedish meatball. I have posted the recipe for you here. And lots of other meatball recipes too....

Knackebrod (swedish crisp bread)
Knäckebröd. The Swedish crisp flat bread that we always have
in the cupboard. You can make your own with help of these
recipes - or buy online.

Potatoes
We have a fun saying in Sweden - If you did not eat potatoes
all day, you did not have any food at all. These loved spuds
goes very well with the salmon I have presented already and of
cours they are a must together with the meatballs.

Here is dessert: Coffee with small oat rolls
They are easy and quick to make and is just right in size after a full dinner.
But if you want a little extra to go with your coffe: Try the violet cake. The
recipe is here!

Coffee

So my Redgage friends
This was the dinner you were invited to
Did you like it? Did you try the salmon? Are you content now? Let me know what you think.

And - one more thing: Wecome back!
